The school has high expectations of all its students and it aims to provide an opportunity for each of them to develop as learners, now and in the future thus our motto: Securing the Future.
To achieve this, teachers, children and the wider community work as a team to create a safe and stimulating environment which encourages high self-esteem and individual development. The educational, social and emotional welfare of each student is paramount.
Both Parents’ Club and School Council are extremely active and constantly strive to provide improved facilities and opportunities for our students.
The Junior Wing (Prep-Year2) of the school was refurbished in 2004. This included a new library/resource centre, an administration area as well as five classrooms, internal toilets (both senior and junior) and a music room. In line with our desire to upgrade existing classroom furniture, new furniture has recently been purchased for all of our classrooms.

We currently have nine classes operating. This includes the highly regarded and sought after Modified Prep class which is unique to the area and is aimed at students who are of school age but are not quite ready either socially or developmentally for the more formal Prep year.
